CLEAN UP AND CLOSING PROCEDURES
The Lessee is responsible to see that the clean-up and close-up is taken care of unless other arrangements were made per the contract.
You should find the space clean and ready for your event upon arrival. If something does not meet your expectation, you agree to notify us immediately and give us an opportunity to make it right. There are no adjustments to your rental fee for items or issues that we were not notified of within 30 minutes of contracted start time and given the opportunity to remedy.
Wipe/clean tables and chairs before storing.
Return all tables and chairs to their original location. Do not drag the tables, please lift them. You will be charged for any necessary repairs to damaged floors. Chairs in upstairs storage must be faced correctly at the close of your event. Failure to load the chairs correctly will result in a $75 charge.
Remove your property and the property of any vendors, contractors, or guests. Any items remaining after the event, whether belonging to Lessee, guest, or vendor, become the property of Lessor. Storage service is not provided.
Sweep the floors, and the steps if needed.
Mop up any messes as they happen.
Empty all trash cans including the bathrooms and put the bags of trash in the dumpster. Use of dumpster is for normal and usual party debris in garbage bags only. Dumpster is not for disposing of displays, party props, or large items which you no longer want. Boxes placed in dumpster must be broken down and balloons must be popped. Excessive use or misuse of the dumpster will result in a $100 fee.
Replace the liners in the trash cans, including rest rooms (including women’s stall cans). Liners for large trash cans are located with the cleaning supplies on both levels. Liners for women’s stall cans are under the bathroom sink. Replace elastic around the tops of the large trash cans to retain liner.
Clean up kitchen (if you used it). If you used the oven, make sure that it is clean. $75 minimum charge to clean oven.
Clean up any spills, dirt, or debris that is not normal wear and tear. If you’ve had glitter, confetti, or the like, in the building (from you or your guests), you can expect a minimum $200 charge. Glitter and confetti get everywhere and require additional clean up time.
If you used our microphone make sure you leave it in the audio closet (you will be charged for replacement if missing).
Check the freezer and refrigerator for your items. Unless it’s champagne. We’re good with you leaving champagne.
Make sure the parking lot is clean and free of all party debris.
Leave upper to lower level hall doors open.
Turn off all lights, inside the building, except hallway lights. Do not toggle any covered switches.
Make sure all outside doors have the push bar released so they will lock when closed, test them by pushing on the door to see if it is latched. Release bars completely when locking; failure to completely release bar will jam the lock (you will be charged to fix). There is a minimum $100 charge if the building is left unsecured (as we’ll have to send someone to lock the building after your event).
Reminder: Do not use stage ledge for sitting. You’ll be charged for cleaning, patching holes, and/or repainting of the wall to repair damage caused by dangling feet kicking the wall.
Aside from normal wear and tear, the center should be left the way you received it. You will be charged for cleaning and repairs over normal wear and tear. We expect to mop, clean the bathrooms, and tidy up, but we don’t expect to walk into a mess that disrespected the building. If we’re scrubbing and cleaning up after you, you can expect to be charged.
