Bluetooth connection
Here’s how to connect your device via Bluetooth to our Audio System.
IMPORTANT—BEFORE YOU BEGIN!!
This will prevent you from damaging the speakers (you are responsible for system).
Turn the Master Volume (red button) to lowest setting (completely counterclockwise).
Turn the Music Volume (yellow button) to the maximum setting (completely clockwise).
Turn on Power (see above) to the Audio Unit.
Press the “Mode” button once (see above) to select “Bluetooth”.
Turn on your Bluetooth device, activate your Bluetooth connection. Turn the volume on your device to the maximum level.
Your device should show “RCS180-6” in the Bluetooth device list. That’s our audio system. Select this connection.
Select and play music on your device*.
When you connect your device, the volume will be all the way off--preventing you from damaging the system. If the music is too loud when you connect, you risk blowing out the speaker system.
Use the Master Volume (red button) to slowly raise the volume level.
CAUTION! Increase volume slowly--just to 1 or 2 on the dial of 20.
Your music should fill the building.
To adjust volume slightly, use the Music Volume (yellow button) to make finer adjustments.
We recommend leaving your device on charge during your event. USB charging is available on the power strip. You’ll need your own cord.
Please leave the power strip. You’ll be charged $75 for replacement of a missing power strip.
*If you’d like to use our Wi-Fi to connect your online music account, the account is “Event-Center-Guest” and the password is “Event Center”.
MICROPHONE
You can rent a microphone from us, or bring your own (1/4”).
Turn all three Microphone Buttons (green buttons) to maximum level (completely clockwise).
If you have your music playing, turn the Music Volume (yellow button) to minimum level (completely counterclockwise).
Turn on microphone if it has an on/off switch.
Plug microphone into Mic Input (see above).
Speak into microphone and adjust the Master Volume (red button) to desired level.
Add background music to desired level using Music Volume (yellow button). Now the microphone and music are balanced, allowing you to karaoke or make announcements over the music.
Plug microphone into any microphone outlet and volume levels will now remain as set.
IMPORTANT - Push red release button before attempting to pull microphone from room outlets. Failure to do so will result in damage to the outlet and you will be charged for replacement (materials and labor).
